Do I have to adapt the SAP® print data preparation every time I make a small text change?
No. This is exactly where our add-on comes in. With the integrated edit mode, you can edit texts, header data or specific notes directly in the print preview. IT does not need to intervene, and the underlying data preparation remains untouched.
Can I also include data from different modules with the add-on?
Yes, that is one of its core advantages. The add-on acts as a data hub: it bundles information from various SAP® modules (e.g., MM, SD, EHS, EWM) and prepares it for the AEB® document before the document is created.
Are the changes I make in edit mode saved in the SAP® master data?
By default, they are a case-specific adjustment for the current document. The advantage is that you do not change any permanent master data for one-off special requests.
How much effort does it take to implement the add-on?
The solution is designed as a plug-and-play extension. Since it builds directly on the SAP® standard and the existing AEB® infrastructure, no complex new developments are needed. Implementation can usually be completed within a few project days.
Does the SAP® add-on also support S/4HANA and the cloud environment?
Yes. The add-on is fully compatible with SAP® S/4HANA (on-premise and private cloud) as well as classic SAP® ERP systems. It uses modern interfaces for high-performance communication with the AEB® Document Service.
